GLS. PLANTAIN BANANA CULTURE

I. ABSTRACT

Plantain banana tree can be grown either extensively in combination with other crops or intensively in pure crops. Some crops that can be associated with plantain banana trees are: macabo, pepper, cocoa, citrus fruits (orange trees, lemon trees, mandarin trees…), pawpaw, etc

Plantain banana tree is a plant that is better expressed in warm and humid climates with adequate sun light for good yield. In Cameroon, plantain banana tree is better adapted to areas like: Southwest, the Coastal, the East and the South and part of the Northwest.
